Marvel Studios officially unveiled Black Panther III during its Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con. Director Ryan Coogler returns to helm the third installment of the blockbuster franchise, with Letitia Wright reprising her role as Shuri.
Marvel also revealed that David Jonsson will portray the adult T’Challa II, the son of King T’Challa, ushering in a new era for Wakanda. The announcement was one of the biggest highlights of Comic-Con, generating a strong reaction from fans in attendance.
The studio confirmed that Black Panther III is scheduled for an exclusive theatrical release on December 15, 2028. Ryan Coogler also confirmed that Denzel Washington has joined the cast in a role written specifically for him, although details about his character have not yet been announced.
